Srushti Dehmukh began preparing for UPSC during the final stage of her engineer degree. She wondered if engineering was the best career choice for her. Later, she realized her passion was in civil service and began to concentrate on this. Her parents encouraged to study civil services and have an opportunity to work in public service. Her motivation was to be an IAS officer, and she was focusing on that goal. Achieving UPSC requires more effort. She was also preparing for UPSC examinations while doing her engineering studies. The exam preparation took up time every single day. Within a little over a month and half the time, she was preparing for her engineering exam as well as completely avoiding social media. Her focus is essential to clear the exam to get a government job, and be able to work as a civil servant. She worked hard to achieve her aim of passing the test at first attempt. Her daily routine included reading papers to stay up to date with all the latest information. On the internet, she gathered a variety of study material and also watched Rajya Sabha TV.
