Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada is an actress most well-known for her role as Bo in The Showcase show Lost Girl. Silk is a Canadian actress who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk both were academics. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. She's the director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers her very first memory as being at play rehearsals together with her mother. Silk starred in numerous commercials for children. She was in 1997 when she graduated with an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. Early theater work includes at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was a resident of Toronto for her acting to progress, and then moved she moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman was her future husband when she was introduced to him in an actor's workshop in Los Angeles. The couple got engaged in 2009 before getting married in the civil ceremony on took place in December. The couple renewed their vows on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton following the time that Silk was converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had a baby boy, her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second son was born in May of 2016. Silk has played a range of TV roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Silk was nominated for a Gemini Award in 2009 to play this character. In 2009, she was cast as the character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during production of the season three finale and announced this to the viewers during the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th that the series was returning to production. Fourth season began on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN has named Bo's character alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched television couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Because of the popularity of the show, Silk has gained a large internet following via social media.
